Landscape escapes...

Here is an example of one of the many interpretations of a backyard escape. One of my clients in San Diego wanted to have a yard that was reminiscent of Michigan, with a stream and oasis feeling yet fit into the California terrain too.


The second photo shows what the area looked like before the transformation.



We created an oasis to celebrate nature. There are new residents there now....... lots of butterflies and bees jumping from each new plant!

Finished Mosaic

Here is the finished mosaic. It is composed of glass tiles and mounted on an EPS backing and can be hung on the wall. The size is 36"x30"x4"

Compliment with mosaics

Adding mosaics to your garden or the entry way to your home or business is a wonderful way to add color, texture and interest to the area. They can be hung on an adjacent wall or added as a fountain or sculpture piece among the plants.

This photo of calla lilies that I took earlier this year was the inspiration for a mosaic I recently completed. I have always been in love with these sensual flowers and leaves.
